As a farmer, Aliya uses optimizes and leverages the existing connections between all natural elements in a given ecosystem to holistically maximize food production instead of energy intensive additive farming methods (e.g., fertilizer, irrigation, environmental controls). Holistic farming methods optimize and strengthen local environments and ecologies with the production of food as natural byproducts in sufficient yields to feed humanity. Given the complexity of working with natural systems, Aliya uses storytelling and ceremonies to share knowledge and build appreciation of the  methodologies. By taking a holistic approach of staying in sync with natural systems and maintaining relational dynamics, Aliya has been able to shorten the time to improve food yields through simultaneous incremental refinements of multiple ecosystemic factors vs. conventional scientific approaches that isolate single elements to study and development at a time.
